The Directors
James Ward and Valerie Babington have been supplying Kitchen and Dining products to multiple retailers for over 25 years. Together they have experience in the design, manufacture and sourcing of many different product categories, and now work closely with long-established Far-East factories. This ensures Cube’s customers have access to the best balance of quality, price and service.
Valerie enjoys working with the Cube team and our customers to create new products which capture the spirit of contemporary trends; keeping a close eye on colour, material and brand, with each new collection reflecting current market needs. Highly commercial, the right product at the right retail price is always paramount.
James focuses on supplier management, factory processes, price negotiation and most importantly quality. Ensuring factories are under no illusion as to the standards to which they must comply to be a trusted Cube supplier. With increasing emphasis on environmental sustainiblity as well as social responsibility, Cube undertakes a tailored pre-audit process to ensure new factories are able to pass the stringent standards set by our customers. We work closely with factories and ensure we visit them 3-4 times a year, building relationships with the people that count and working with them to over come the manufacturing challenges they face.
The Team
Cube’s wealth of experience and expertise encompasses every step in the product supply process.
Our creative team access trend data and undertake market research to ensure a constant flow of new products and surface pattern designs. Fashion and trends feature significantly in the selection of colours used for both products and brand identity.
The New Product Development Team work to source better, more efficient and more sustainable ways to manufacture, as well as finding completely new materials for well-loved products.
The QC and Supply Chain Management Section work with a focus on attention to detail, ensuring specifications, timings and quality control processes are all adhered to.
Cube offers the flexibility of FOB or CIF and can invoice in USD or GBP. Shipping full container or consolidated loads from a number of far east ports.
